Stress and HRV: What Your Wearable's Score Actually Means
Wellness wearables sell HRV as a single number that tells you how stressed you are. The actual research supports something narrower and more useful: HRV tracks YOUR OWN trend over time, and a handful of specific techniques — slow-paced breathing chief among them — have real trial evidence behind them.
What HRV actually measures
